Heart Beetz campaign shortlisted for NHS Communications Awards 2022
The Surrey Heartlands Health and Care Partnership Heart Beetz campaign has been shortlisted for the NHS Communicate Awards 2022. The awards celebrate the work and achievements of communications over the last year and facilitate learning amongst colleagues.
The Heart Beetz campaign is shortlisted in the category: Use of Insight and Data for Innovation in Communications Award. Using local data provided by the Urgent and Emergency Care Team and Business Intelligence Team, we identified that a significant percentage of 18-60 year olds, especially parents of under 5s and those living close to Emergency Departments, turning up to A&E without an appointment don't need to be there and would be better served choosing other options.
The aim of the campaign was to help people know which service to use and when, if they needed medical treatment and advice. Central to the campaign was a new and fun animation featuring the Heart Beetz band which tells the story of how their local NHS has helped or how they have helped themselves.
